FAQs: Primo VE Resource Guide

The “Expand my Results” slider can be hidden so that the expand option is never present. The expand option searches CDI and brings into Primo electronic content that your institution doesn’t subscribe to. The slider can be hidden by adding code to Primo’s CSS. Shown below is the area with the “Expand my Results” slider. The text can also be relabeled if you would rather do that than hide it. A few examples from some of the SUS and FCS institutions where the text has been relabeled are shown below.

Here’s the code if you prefer to add it to your customization package yourself. When adding code, please download a new customization package so that new CSS or JavaScript that might have been added by FLVC won’t be overwritten by an older customization package you have saved.
