What does "Activate for full text" mean in relation to the CDI (Central Discovery Index)?

This is the terminology that is used to indicate that CDI records will be available for full-text access (as opposed to only available for searching). This means that you will see links for CDI records for this collection. Alternatively, if you turn CDI off for a collection, you will only see CDI records by choosing "Expand My Results" when you will see CDI records without links.
