How do I get usage statistics for our ebooks?

By default, Alma doesn't log usage for ebooks and other electronic resources, but there are three routes that you can choose from to gather this information.

1) You can gather stats from the platform vendor. Usually platforms host COUNTER reports for your institution on their admin site (e.g. EBSCOadmin).

2) The FLVC E-Resources department can configure automatic harvesting of COUNTER data from major vendors via the SUSHI protocol on the CELUS platform (https://www.celus.net/); FLVC posts COUNTER usage from CELUS on the IPEDS-ACRL dashboard each fiscal year (accessible from your Analytics Shared With Me list in Alma), and ad hoc reports from CELUS may be requested via the FLVC Help Desk (help@flvc.org)

3) Another option is to configure SUSHI harvesting in Alma yourself.  Here is a link to Alma Documentation for Managing COUNTER compliant Usage Data.  Let FLVC know, via the HelpDesk, if you need assistance with this setup.
