Is it possible to edit one of the out of the box reports from Exlibris? If so, how?
Yes, you can can edit the canned reports from ExLibris, but first you'll need to copy & paste the report to a different directory.
From Alma - Analytics, you might find a useful Report or Dashboard (Group of reports) listed under the Reports header that you'd like to modify to fit your needs. To do so, Click on Design Analytics, then click on Catalog (Upper right). See the image below.
In the Catalog, you should see a list of Folders on the left side. Click on the arrow next to Shared Folders, and look for the desired ExLibris created Dashboard or Report under the Alma folder. Highlight the Dashboard or Report and click the Copy symbol at the top, or use the Copy from the Tasks section (Bottom left). See the image below.
Navigate to the folder that you want to paste the Dashboard or Report to and select paste. It is recommended to paste the report into "My folders" first. Make any edits and ensure the report is running properly before copying & pasting it to your institution's shared folder. See the two images below.
